Getting around Edinburgh
Edinburgh runs from Waverley and Haymarket stations up the Royal Mile to the castle, with the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood, the festival venues on the Mound and the new town's Georgian terraces above the Princes Street Gardens. The Forth road and rail bridges cross the estuary to Fife.
Edinburgh Airport, the two main stations and the conference calendar generate a steady transfer trade: flight catches from the west end and the new town, festival and conference work, hospital journeys, and pre-booked runs to Glasgow, St Andrews and the Borders.
